About me

Nestor NTAKABURIMVO holds a degree in statistics and has over 8 years of experience in research, management, monitoring, evaluation, and learning. He has expertise in the implementation of national research and evaluation studies, as well as in the use of digital tools to improve programmatic reporting. Specialized in the design and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems, he also provides technical assistance and capacity building to teams and partners. He contributes to strengthening M&E systems and creates knowledge management and learning platforms, supporting the training of government colleagues and partners.

In the field of surveys and research, Nestor has solid experience in planning survey activities, designing methodologies and sampling frameworks, and developing data collection tools, including digital tools such as KoboCollect and ODK. He uses data analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, and R to analyze data and produce survey reports. As a team leader, he supervises survey teams and manages databases, providing training to coding, data entry, and/or data collection staff.

He is also specialized in evaluating the impact of public policies using experimental and quasi-experimental methods, as well as in the use of results-based management (RBM) tools. He drafts terms of reference, expressions of interest, and requests for proposals, and is experienced in developing detailed methodologies and budgets.
